Senior Software Engineer - Front End, Learnosity

• Know how to build and architect software to get from zero to released
• Have a keen eye for how to prove out complex functionality with real data, and how to tweak and tune to get the best results
• Are always eager to roll up your sleeves and dig in at all stages of the software and product lifecycle - from high level ideation, to working through user stories with the teams to get the product into the hands of users
• Understand the flexibility needed to release product in the fastest-changing technology landscape that we’ve ever seen before
• Strong understanding and experience with agile frameworks and practices
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• 6+ years of experience as a web applications developer
• Experience working with Python and Typescript
• Experience with various database technologies (relational, nosql, document-oriented, etc) and query concepts in high performance environments
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Great knowledge of design patterns and back end architecture best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences
• Strong code review skills
• Experience mentoring junior developers

• Design, implement, modify, and support the development of software for Learnosity’s Workforce product
• Lead task planning, estimation, and scheduling, working closely with other teams and management to deliver projects from inception to completion, and ensure documentation is kept up to date
• Determine root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions
