As well as providing people with cash to travel, Travelex is a key supplier of wholesale banknotes to global financial institutions, central banks, credit unions, travel agencies, hotels and casinos.
The company has made strategic partnerships to further its product capabilities, most recently in the APAC region. Together with Nium it has launched its “Travelex International Money Transfer”, connecting users in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore with over 50 markets across the world. Meanwhile, its partnership with Kayak helps customers plan trips within its overhauled Money Card app.
Travelex is focused on further investing in developing its products. This will involve solutions that support their B2B2C aspirations and working with retail distributions to give customers the opportunity to self-serve more at the airport or pre-trip. The company’s global network and an ever-expanding list of capabilities has Travelex well-positioned to remain a strong market leader.
