- Curiosity for all things beautiful. While we do not design for design's sake, your appreciation for the finer details matters. Good design isn't noticed, but felt; you deeply understand this concept
- Intuition on what it takes to create delightful, consumer-oriented experiences
- Exceptional skills with design tools. We worship at the altar of Figma, so your fluency is imperative
- Strong motion/animation skills using tools like After Effects, Lottie, or similar
- A bias toward action and execution. You get nervous if you’re not sketching concepts, tweaking flows or polishing the designs that represent the big-thinking work
- Great communication and collaboration skills that help you work with performance and brand marketing teams, translating a brief into final marketing materials, maintaining brand consistency across channels and different ad sizes/types
- 2+ years of relevant experience designing consumer-facing marketing materials (email, social, billboards, etc)
- An online portfolio of your work
What the job involves
- As a Paid Marketing Designer at Solace, you are responsible for bringing value to our users by designing the marketing of the healthcare experience of the future
- You will be expected to distill complex ideas into beautiful, usable marketing—a role that requires equal parts clarity and creativity. Experience with motion and animation is a must, as you'll be helping bring our brand and campaigns to life in dynamic ways
- You will be held to high standards, but you will do some of the best work of your life here. This role is for the hungry, the ambitious, the curious and those who don't shy away from feedback
- Bring beauty and simplicity to complex ideas
- Produce high-quality, production-ready designs while creating a best-in-class experience
- Design for paid marketing channels, incorporating motion and animation to elevate our creative
- Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, marketing, and business folks to find elegant solutions to design challenges
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail and when to make low-fi sketches
- Actively contribute to testing to uphold the quality of implementation of your designs
- Learn and become a guardian of our consistent design framework and standards to bring the Solace brand to life
Our take
The US healthcare system is complex and difficult to navigate. This leaves many patients overwhelmed with paperwork and insurance claims, and struggling against limited provider availability.
Solace has set out to tackle this issue, by connecting patients with expert healthcare advocates. These professionals, including former doctors and nurses, offer support and guide patients through their healthcare challenges.
With substantial funding to its name, Solace is in a position to expand its services, grow its network of advocates, and enhance coverage across Medicaid and private insurance plans. Alongside a partnership with Medicare, Solace aims to make healthcare advocacy more accessible and continue empowering patients with expert support.
