Senior Accountant, Sunbit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of general accounting experience
• Working knowledge of accounting procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including ability to analyze large volumes of transaction data
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

• Sunbit is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end activities, with a focus on our growing loan product.
• While the primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely accounting of Sunbit’s transactions, this role also contributes to process improvements and the ongoing development of our accounting function
• Prepare monthly analyses and supporting schedules for the loan receivables portfolio
• Import and reconcile banking transactions in NetSuite
• Prepare daily loan product reporting for our bank partner
• Assist with month-end close journal entries
• Review and analyze select general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements as needed
