Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Proven experience with B2C mobile products, preferably with a strong focus on customer journey optimization
- Strong understanding of subscription, retention, and user engagement metrics
- Experience with experimentation (A/B testing), analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mode), and product KPIs (LTV, churn, retention, CAC)
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-informed, and customer-obsessed environment
- Bonus: Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare)
What the job involves
- As the Senior Product Manager for Membership/Retention, you’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Brigit member experience in our mobile app, reporting directly to the VP of Product
- Your scope will include the Brigit home screen and global navigation, as well as subscription flows, account management, and billing features
- You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, and customer support, owning a roadmap that grows, engages, and retains our subscribed user base
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for membership and subscription experiences across iOS and Android platforms
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of features related to onboarding, product adoption, billing, retention, cross-sell, and upsell
- Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to create intuitive, frictionless, and lovable experiences for subscribers
- Partner with marketing and analytics teams to A/B test engagement and retention tactics
- Use data, research, and experimentation to identify key drivers of engagement and retention and develop solutions to optimize them
- Monitor and measure performance metrics, analyzing user behavior and feedback to continuously refine the product
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in subscription-based mobile apps
Our take
Brigit is an algorithm-based personal finance app that helps underserved financial customers maintain financial health. It offers a raft of protective services including cash bumps to fend off overdraft charges, budgeting tools, and interest-free emergency loans.
In spite of this financially oriented spread, Brigit has no intention of expanding into neo-banking. This is smart, as it allows the company to focus on a broad range of banner services without stepping into the far more competitive digital banking sector. Brigit has successfully united these disparate features under a strong customer-forward and socially impactful identity. This gives the company the freedom to expand its services in response to new banking trends without diluting its brand.
It means, too, that Brigit can complement new and legacy banking solutions, instead of competing for space. This careful positioning should shore Brigit up in a sector undergoing continual and swift change.
