Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a track record of driving adoption of innovative technologies
- Proven ability to sell consultatively and influence decision-makers across marketing and technology
- Expertise in marketing across a variety of strategies - including acquisition, retention, cross-sell/upsell
- Outstanding communication skills and executive presence to educate and inspire client audiences
- Self-motivated team player who consistently exceeds goals and elevates performance standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, seamlessly prioritizing competing demands
- Passion for helping brands and agencies learn about and adopt exciting new technologies
What the job involves
- The Sales Director is responsible for building success by identifying, qualifying and selling agency & advertiser prospects on the value of Firsthand
- This senior seller will be responsible for supporting new and existing business, creating an actionable plan of execution for account prioritization, and taking Firsthand’s AI agent platform and solutions to market
- Establish and grow relationships with key agencies and advertisers
- Assess potential business deals, through RFP responses and pursue proactive opportunities via strategic partnerships
- Network at industry-relevant functions to increase Firsthand’s visibility and connect with new clients
- Maintain proper adherence to company standards for data entry/utilization through Firsthand's CRM
- Effectively forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
- Develop proficiency in Firsthand products/technology, and understand how they fit within the advertising ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with company leadership on sales, leads, and the status of prospective projects

The platform offers a solution that enables publishers and brands to manage, safeguard, and utilise their data and content in direct conversational campaigns driven by tailored AI agents. This capability extends to various online channels where consumers actively seek information.
As the company shifts out of stealth stages it is conducting a pilot program with a select group of brands and publishers. As AI continues to evolve, we are sure that the Firsthand product will grow in tandem, pursuing its mission to construct the infrastructure that empowers AI-driven consumer interactions. An exciting time for the company as it emerges in to this billion dollar sector.
