Who you are
- This role requires a strong sales background, preferably expertise in fashion liveselling, and a passion for fashion and live shopping
- Sales Skills: Proven sales/business development success, ideally in fashion or e-commerce
- Communication Skills: Persuasive ability to convey Tilt’s unique value to sellers
- Organizational Skills: Track targets and pipeline efficiently

What the job involves
- As a Business Development Sales Representative, you will lead Tilt’s launch in a new country by building an initial critical mass of sellers
- You’ll identify and onboard key sellers—from influencers to independent retailers—to ensure a successful platform launch
- Market Research: Analyze local liveselling trends and target demographics
- Seller Acquisition: Apply sales skills to engage and secure top fashion sellers
- Relationship Building: Build lasting relationships with sellers, encouraging active use of Tilt
- Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline, focusing on meeting acquisition goals
- Seller Training: Support new sellers in maximizing live-selling techniques
- Community Building: Establish a strong, engaging seller community
Our take
Online shopping's popularity has surged rapidly, yet its fundamental experience has remained largely unchanged since its inception. TILT is building a transformative social commerce product for young adults that reflects a new paradigm in consumer culture driven by Gen-Z.
The landscape of social commerce, involving the direct sale of products through social media platforms, is undergoing explosive expansion. In fact, this market is predicted to surpass one trillion US dollars by 2028. TILT stands as an ambitious startup with aspirations to become a linchpin in the global commerce arena.
Considerable funding will help TILT achieve this goal, as it invests in efforts to build on the success of its live-shopping app. While industry titans such as Facebook, TikTok, and Klarna are fervently innovating with shopping-oriented formats and features, the ultimate breakthrough remains elusive - giving TILT a real opportunity to stand out.
