- 7+ years of experience in public relations or media relations
- Demonstrated success at turning pitches into stories across Tier 1 media outlets (e.g., Tech Crunch, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, the Verge, etc.)
- Has a personal media list and existing relationships with reporters

- We’re seeking an exceptional Public Relations & Communications Manager to drive our media and communications strategy, working at the intersection of technology and transformation
- This high-impact role will place you at the forefront of our brand storytelling efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, C-level executives, and our strategic partner, Accenture
- Your mission: to elevate our brand presence across global markets, cultivate relationships with top-tier media outlets, and craft narratives that inspire, engage, and resonate

- Develop and implement a media and communications strategy for Udacity
- Partner with Accenture counterparts to ensure strategic alignment across the broader company ecosystem
- Create and manage a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc
- Analyze all media coverage of the organization and draft appropriate responses, when necessary
- Work with the content marketing team to create a content calendar
- Develop strategy for and organize promotional events such as press tours and conferences
- Work closely with the leadership team on media engagements
- Develop relationships and working with media outlets and other companies
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify the public voice of the brand (and ensure alignment with Accenture)
- Create style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing, advertising and other departments
- Consult with executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations
- Draft press releases and speeches following organizational news
- Communicate with media outlets and journalists and create press kits
- Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices
- Coach and assist team members on improving communication skill
- Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies
