Role
Who you are
- 2-3 years of experience, ideally in a quantitative role
- Passion for new media & technological possibilities with an eager curiosity; demonstrated ability to learn quickly
- Ability to identify and interpret patterns and trends in visitor behavior
- Ability to clearly articulate and present data findings and insights to creative and technical teams alike
- Proactive, self-starter who is eager to learn and take on individual projects and analyses
- Hands-on experience with reporting and analyses utilizing a major web analytics tool such as Google Analytics, Parsely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Familiarity with paid content models is a plus
- Experience using SQL-based exploratory analytics tools is a plus
What the job involves
- This is a global role, covering Architectural Digest’s digital site performance in all markets. In addition to providing recurring reporting, this role will also have opportunities to conduct ad hoc exploratory analyses that provide deeper understanding of AD’s digital content and audiences
- This role will report to the Associate Director of Global Analytics for Architectural Digest and work alongside audience development to help develop an optimize global audience strategy
- Leverage global digital data to create and enhance recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on traffic and KPIs for leadership, editorial and cross-functional teams across the organization
- Conduct content analysis to guide cross-market content strategy for the editorial teams across regions
- Gather, analyze, and visualize industry data to help the team stay abreast of competitors, while providing insights for Commercial teams to take to market
- Utilize data from various distro sources – social, SEO, email, etc – to build an integrated view of audiences and their needs, behaviors and attitudes
- Assist with and field ad hoc data requests from editorial, sales, product, and other teams, and develop corresponding analyses
- Carry out analysis and audits of social channels to understand effectiveness and identify content and audience insights/recommendations for global teams
- Work alongside the global audience development leads in different regions to analyze organic levers and develop insights to help increase overall traffic and engagement and meet KPIs
- Monitor and report daily on company KPI pacing and brand performance for Architectural Digest in all markets
- Translate analyses and reports into documented insights to be presented to other cross-functional teams
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and other related analytics meetings to share insights and strategy recommendations
