Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Presales Engineering, Technical Consulting or related technical role in a B2B environment
- Fluent French or German, with proficiency in English
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies and services, such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, message queues, and webhooks
- Background in coding and scripting, evidenced by past projects or professional experience
- Strong experience working with large enterprise customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience working with SQL and data manipulation techniques, especially working with large datasets and complex data structures
- Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and tasks simultaneously, with strong prioritisation skills and a structured, customer-focused approach to delivery
- Experience integrating AI workflows into product, engineering, or operational processes (e.g., automated QA, AI-driven dashboards, AI-assisted customer support)
- Willingness to travel for up to 30 days per year

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Presales Solution Architect who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and build with us — through the grind and the wins
- Become the technical reference during the presales phase, providing product expertise on the implementation and integration of our solutions with the customer’s systems
- Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, earning their trust as a reliable and knowledgeable advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Architect, develop and execute re-usable data migration solutions that enable Monta to execute data migrations in alignment with previously agreed timelines
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings, and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to effectively position our solution in the market
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects, showcasing the features and benefits of Monta products
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process, including scoping, solution design, and proposal development, to help close new business opportunities
- Participate in bid processes assisting our Bid Management team to ensure that Monta’s features and value propositions are properly captured
- Lead the technical design, development, and execution of data migration projects for large enterprise customers migrating to our SaaS platform, ensuring seamless and efficient transfer of data from external systems
- Develop and maintain documentation, including use case analysis, solution architecture diagrams, and migration plans that ensure clarity throughout the project lifecycle and a smooth transition between Pre-sales and Post-Sales teams
- You’ll be expected to work with AI-powered tools. Some we use:
- GitHub Copilot / Claude Code
- ChatGPT / Gemini / Claude
- Notion AI (docs, knowledge, meeting notes)
- Analytics & ML: Langfuse, PyTorch, Mastra
- AI-enhanced testing & monitoring (e.g., generative QA, Grafana ML)
- We don’t expect mastery of all — but we expect comfort learning, experimenting, and adopting AI responsibly

Monta is an EV charging company that is building ways to make it easier to charge EVs from wherever you are. In order to do so, the company is working to digitise the EV charging ecosystem via a charging management platform.
Transforming mobility is a leading global effort towards a greener society and European cities are rapidly seeing the uptake of electric vehicles. In spite of this, there is a dearth of EV charging points, and Monta is trying to rectify this issue through its unique all-in-one EV charging platform, which makes charging vehicles simple and seamless, thereby increasing the adoption of a more sustainable method of transport.
Monta has invested its efforts toward opening up new markets, specifically North America, whilst consolidating its market position in Scandinavia, the UK, and Germany, and most recently, it expanded into Canada. Alongside this, the company recently partnered with Octopus Fleet to support the expansion of its fleet and energy services. This partnership strengthens Monta's role in large-scale fleet electrification and puts the company in a strong position as demand for reliable EV charging continues to grow.
