Senior Accountant, Mashgin

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 7+ years of experience applying accounting and financial best-practices in a public or private company environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERPs
• Strong commitment to accuracy, consistency and ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions with various tools

Desirable

• This is a Bay Area based, intermediate position where you will be initially responsible for the expense side of Mashgin's accounting. As a senior accountant, you will handle vendor bills, credit card entries, manage expense entries, and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping
• Owning the entire procure to pay process, including establishing and improving processes
• Participating in general ledger activities, including recording journal entries
• Supporting monthly close processes to ensure adherence to the close schedule
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and schedules for period-end close and audit
• Owning the sales tax process, requiring the selection of the tax platform and its management
