Who you are
- We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution focused mindset and contribute to architectural decisions, best practices and get things done
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend and hybrid mobile application development
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with responsive design, Flexbox, and CSS preprocessors such as SCSS, SASS, or LESS
- Proficiency with React Native and Expo, including reusable component patterns and shared component libraries
- Experience using NativeWind for Tailwind-style styling in React Native
- Familiarity with TanStack Query for server-state management and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience building reusable UI components and integrating third-party UI libraries such as Material UI or Bootstrap
- Strong experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs in frontend and mobile applications
- Experience implementing authentication flows using AWS Cognito on the frontend
- Working knowledge of cloud and serverless architectures, preferably AWS, from a frontend integration perspective
- Experience with unit testing for frontend and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices relevant to frontend and mobile development, including Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience managing mobile application release processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including build signing, versioning, store metadata, and submission workflows
- Familiarity with app store review guidelines, release approvals, phased rollouts, and post-release issue management
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
