Role
Who you are
- 10 years of experience in brand creative roles across B2C and B2B audiences evidenced by a portfolio of excellent digital direct-to-consumer product and marketing design. In-market products strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of art direction, graphic design, user experience, digital marketing/communications, paired with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution
- Ability to communicate and present brand work compellingly to all levels of the organization, driving alignment across stakeholders
- Masterful at balancing creative excellence with business objectives
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into creative concepts that resonate with our audience
- A proven track record of efficacy and leadership in a senior level individual contributor role, driving product strategy and resulting in positive organizational impact
- Built-in partnerships with world class agencies, freelancers, and vendors
- A natural instinct for successfully tackling large, complex problems head-on, and a tendency towards action
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment and collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role with a focus on emerging technologies
- Proven background in developing platform-level UI components, illustrations, and design systems
- Experience directing & executing copy, art direction, design, video, animation, and other creative disciplines
- Demonstrated expertise in conceptual and strategically-led campaign development

- Our latest initiative is a healthcare companion app that fills a critical gap: helping patients to manage their chronic conditions and general health at home, while providing a bridge to their care team between visits
- The Nuna app is our first direct-to-consumer product, and is bringing new dimensions to our brand and company culture, as we continue to strive to impact the lives and health of everyone in accordance with our mission
- We’re thrilled for you to join our growing design team in the role of Creative Director to set the bar for visual impact across our products and all customer and consumer touchpoints
- Reporting directly to the Head of Design, the Creative Director will blend leadership and execution skills to deliver compelling brand experiences and expressions that are core to our business
- This is a highly visible role across the organization, requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration and engagement
- It also necessitates deep empathy for and understanding of patient healthcare and wellness journeys; the primary focus of our work
- As the Creative Director, you will be primarily responsible for driving Nuna visual design across our digital products, sales/marketing initiatives, client support, and educational content
- As such, this role presents an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive creative strategy that aligns with Nuna’s brand vision and business goals
- Drive the transformation of our company and product narratives into a powerful and persuasive brand presence that resonates with our audience
- Lead the visual and motion design for our direct-to-consumer and enterprise applications, collaborating closely within our design team to create engaging and intuitive experiences that drive customer growth and retention
- Manage brand initiatives and guideline documentation
- Define the visual aspects of our digital educational content: art direction, illustration & animation/motion
- Work closely with the Head of Design to ensure brand consistency across marketing and product initiatives
- Work with senior executives to deliver brand advertising strategy, from research and creative development to placement and measurement
- Work closely with a team of talented design leads to foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and innovation within the creative team
- Assess creative approaches, analyze competitors, execute creative visions, measure results, and drive ongoing improvement
- Follow a player-coach model, balancing hands-on creative execution, with direction setting, strategic planning and team/project leadership
Our take
Medical data is a highly valuable resource for delivering actionable insights into the U.S. healthcare system. However, analyzing enormous data sets to produce these insights is a fragmented and time-consuming process.
Nuna Incorporated uses cloud computing technology to provide an integrated data analysis platform for the U.S. healthcare sector. The startup unifies many analytic services into a single package including tools that handle the aggregation, processing, and analysis of data. Analyzed data is collected from employers, health plans, and insurance policies to identify cost-saving opportunities to increase access to quality care.
Whilst improving the U.S. healthcare system through mass data analysis is nothing new, Nuna's cloud-based methods present opportunities for massive improvements in the speed and quality of producing valuable insights. Ultimately, the company aims to help healthcare providers make quality healthcare more affordable to low-income Americans.
