Role
Who you are
- We are looking for an Investor Relations Manager with extensive professional experience to join the growing European Investor Relations team
- The ability and tenacity in leading and implementing investor-only initiatives, working closely with the programme directors, recruiting high calibre speakers for private conferences and a passion for learning about fund management, fund selection and asset allocation are all important skills to possess in order to succeed in this role
- Exceptional command and fluency in spoken and written English
- Additional European language an advantage
- Pre-existing relationships with institutional investors – continue building and maintaining those relationships
- Knowledge of data management in Excel, presentation skills on PowerPoint and Word office
- Experience of Salesforce or other CRM system desired
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to travel frequently
- Hybrid working and fully remote working is possible
- Right to live and work in the UK. EU citizens must provide proof of settled or pre-settled status
What the job involves
- The candidate will be a business and content development professional with a sound understanding of financial markets and will be developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships with institutional investors, banks, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, endowments & foundations, government institutions, academia, and other FMPs
- This role supports the Global Head of Investor Relations and acts as a contact for the asset allocator community by communicating the company’s strategy, products, and business initiatives
- You will be building out the audience for several investment conferences throughout the year via a tailored business approach and exemplary relationship management tactics
- Business travel and 1:1 meetings with investors are a key part of building and maintaining relationships with key funds and clients
- Develop investment insights via a blend of qualitative and quantitative research sourced from 1:1 interviews with senior investment officials (usually C-suite), attending relevant private and government events on site and other networking opportunities
- Act as a support function to the commercial distribution of leading global asset management clients by providing competitive intelligence on asset flows of funds covered
- Take control of your regional communications strategy to deliver best-in-class audiences and speakers for your events
- Thorough notetaking skills, able to discern key messages in large amounts of literature, news articles, conversations, panel discussions, phone calls and relaying that information clearly and accurately for different business purposes
- Represent the brand. You must exude confidence in social settings and be knowledgeable of general global affairs, financial industry news, and have a sense of global macroeconomics. Curiosity is an essential quality
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regularly monitor news relevant to your regional coverage
- Excellent collaborator with internal teams like content, marketing, logistics and client services
