Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in design leadership with a proven track record in fintech or related industries
- Demonstrated expertise in visual design, UX/UI, and interaction design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects

- We are hiring a Head of Product Design to drive a best-in-class user experience and design function at Rho
- Own product design vision, strategy, and execution
- Orchestrate a cohesive design vision aligned with company objectives and user outcomes
- Build a strong design culture rooted in creating a delightful, industry-leading product experience for Rho customers
- You will report directly to the product lead and be a crucial voice at the table, attracting top design talent and ensuring Rho remains at the forefront of fintech innovation
- Spearhead the strategic vision for product design at Rho, overseeing the Rho product design team
- Setting the design vision across the organization, ensuring consistency and excellence in visual design, UX/UI, and interaction design
- Foster an environment of creative problem-solving, empowering designers to innovate while adhering to core design principles and values
- Develop and execute a long-term design strategy that aligns with company goals, guiding teams toward achieving cohesive and impactful user experiences
- Act as a champion for design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed design thinking in all aspects of our product development process
- Mentor and manage design leaders, cultivating a high-performing team that is aligned with Rho’s business and product strategies
- Communicate design strategies and insights clearly, maintaining transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization

Rho was founded to address the growing need among small and medium-sized businesses for a unified solution to manage corporate spending and cash flow. Aiming to serve companies with 30 to 500 employees, Rho designed its platform to create seamless workflows across banking, corporate cards, and accounts payable.
The company introduced Rho AP, an accounts payable product, followed by a corporate card in partnership with Sterling Bank, enhancing its offering for businesses looking for efficiency in managing financial operations. With a clear focus on product strategy and growth, Rho has been expanding its team and integrating AI capabilities into its platform to stay ahead of the evolving fintech landscape.
