What the job involves

We re looking for a Senior Manager, Content, to join our alias team. alias is the official selling app of GOAT and Flight Club. Designed exclusively for sellers, alias turns your sneakers, apparel, and accessories into earnings
As the Senior Manager, Content, you will help create the content strategy for the alias brand with a major focus on seller community growth through compelling storytelling
Use storytelling, data, and design thinking to build a cross-functional experience for the alias brand. You will help develop and execute a content strategy across alias channels: web and app, socials, CRM, and physical locations
Produce content, campaigns and experiences that resonate with sellers: from ideation to launch, you will explore various formats (market reports, selling guides, space activations, etc.) and expand them to our socials to grow our community
Partner with our Data Analytics and Merchandising teams to manage and maintain a content calendar that integrates meaningful cultural events and key market trends throughout the year and globally
Lead and manage a cross-functional pod of internal and external talent to deliver high-quality work at various deadlines

Our take

GOAT is a resale marketplace with a focus on sneakers, that pioneered the ship-to-verify model. GOAT customers can be sure that their sneakers are authentic, which is especially important for the highly-sought after items that populate GOAT's website and mobile app.

The company has attempted to gain an edge over competitors, such as StockX, by beginning to authenticate items using Nvidia's deep-learning algorithms. Strategic acquisitions of the physical retailer Flight Club and streetwear marketplace Grailed have contributed to GOAT's expansion into brick-and-mortal sales, and online diversification, respectively.
