Ambient has combined these technologies, alongside deep security awareness, to create its pioneering Computer Vision Intelligence (CVI) system, that provides near-human perception of security threats.
Although there is no shortage of companies exploring security through CV and AI, Ambient’s system stands out by being more closely related to the manner in which humans see and process information; with items relating to other items, and to events. The company monitors and analyses thousands of live surveillance feeds, allowing security teams to more effectively respond to and prevent security incidents involving firearms and knives, theft, trespassing, and hundreds more.
Ambient works with clients across industries including aerospace, education, and energy, as well as serving some of the largest tech companies in the world. In 2022, the same year it came out of stealth, the company was named the top video surveillance software in the inaugural SecurityInfoWatch Readers’ Choice Awards, as well as making the Fast Company’s second annual Next Big Things in Tech list. Substantial funding is being put into accelerating its technology and ability to help a wide range of organisations defend against security threats.
