Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a strategic, technical, and hands-on Head of Digital Product to lead our e-commerce and digital experience
- You know how to scale product systems and teams, thrive at the intersection of growth, technology, and customer experience, and bring a strong background in B2C subscription brands
- 7-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience managing headless Shopify architecture (including custom storefronts, APIs, and integrations) with a clear view on performance, scalability, and build vs. buy tradeoffs
- Experience with consumer subscription products is highly preferred. Ideally, you’ve worked directly on subscription flows, and you definitely deeply understand how product decisions impact AOV, retention, and LTV
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience supporting or leading data infrastructure improvements, building reporting frameworks, and enabling data-driven decision-making across teams
- Strong eye for design with a deep understanding of UX principles, with the ability to make design decisions that enhance the customer journey
- Proven track record of driving business success through digital products and user experience at B2C brands
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about eating and living well
- Min. C1 English is required, and native German is a huge plus
- Based in Berlin, or willing to relocate
What the job involves
- You’ll drive the vision and execution of the end-to-end digital product - from the platform architecture and supporting tech stack to the user experience that drives both conversion and retention
- This is a high-impact leadership role where your decisions will directly shape how customers engage with every - and how the business grows
- This role is part of the Growth Team, and reports to the CMO
- Strategic leadership: Develop and bring to life a product vision that aligns with our mission, business goals, and customers’ expectations
- Platform ownership: Own and evolve our headless commerce setup (built on Shopify), including the decision-making around custom apps, architecture, and integrations to ensure performance, scalability, and an exceptional customer experience
- Process and infrastructure optimisation: Build and refine the product development process, QA workflows, and internal tooling (e.g. Sanity, Mixpanel, Convert, Littledata), ensuring the team is operating with efficiency, clarity, and high output quality
- Business growth ownership: Own the digital levers that drive revenue - from CRO and AOV to LTV. Your impact will directly shape every’s acquisition and overall revenue growth
- Team management: Lead front-end and back-end product managers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Includes managing a third-party development agency, as well
- Delivering a top-notch customer experience: Ensure that the product delivers intuitive, high-conversion UI/UX
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with acquisition and retention teams to align digital product initiatives with business objectives and to create a unified product experience
Our take
We lead busy lives - working, going out, exercising - and often don’t have time to cook. But Every wants to make sure we’re still eating quality, healthy food without taking up any extra time.
They sell themselves as a perfect marriage of nutrition, sustainability and ease - their meals are all plant-based, delivered by bike where possible and come in packaging that’s entirely recyclable or compostable. They’re also a certified Carbon Neutral company, and their eco credentials definitely endear them to their target market.
However, it’s a very overcrowded market in which they operate. There are so many food delivery options, and plenty of plant-based ready meal competitors as well. But they’ve managed to expand into 4 countries without investment (their two founders self-funded the business), which suggests a healthy customer base, and its B2B bulk ordering offering does mark them out somewhat.
