Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the UK with a demonstrated history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Your recent background should ideally be in inbound sales, with a focus on B2B or SaaS (or services similar to Sleek’s UK offering)
- A stable tenure of at least 18 months in each of your last two roles (barring exceptional circumstances)
- Native English proficiency and based within an hour of London or Leeds, making it easy for you to come to our offices at least once per week
- Behavioural fit is also important at Sleek, and we will be looking for candidates that have a proven track record of embodying the below attributes in their recent roles:
- Ownership: This shows reliability and helps build trust within the team. We move fast and need to know that everyone will see things through to completion and proactively help to get things back on track when challenges arise. Accountability is really important to us

- Data driven: We are a data rich business with ~15,000 small customers. Each decision we make can impact many more people than we realise - so it’s critical that we use sound data to support our strategies and review the success of our initiatives

What the job involves
- We are looking for an Account Executive that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months
- Mission: Lead by example to help create a high-performing, engaged and scalable inbound Sales team for Sleek in the UK
- Convert inbound leads into new business, using your experience and skills to improve upon existing lead conversion ratios
- Become a specialist in Sleek’s market and Sleek’s offerings, thereby adding value to all leads (converted or not)
- Through your above-average listening and communication skills, provide a professional and delightful experience to prospects, helping to grow word of mouth and brand value for Sleek in the UK
- Work closely with other inbound Sales reps in the UK, sharing feedback and tactics in a collaborative environment
- Maintain a clear and tidy pipeline of opportunities in HubSpot, ensuring reporting is timely and accurate
- Set aside time each month to identify and communicate opportunities for upsell to the UK Country Manager, Sleek’s Head of Sales and Sleek’s CRO
- Set aside time each month to absorb and share learnings with other inbound Sales team members serving the Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia markets

- It might seem like a lot - but fear not - we come prepared! We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish depending on your availability
- Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role
- Our initial selection stage begins with an on-demand video interview. Once your video submission has been reviewed by our team, we will reach out to schedule a follow-up discovery call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
- Case study/ Technical Round
- A ~60-minute Case Study Presentation with our Head of Sales UK, followed by a separate strategy interview with our UK Country Manager
- Soft skills/ Behavioural fit interview
- Individual interviews with the Global Head of Sales and the Chief Revenue Officer
- References checks & Offer
- Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role
- This may include using external vendors to verify the below:
- Your education
- Any criminal history
- Any political exposure
- Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history
- We will ask for your consent before conducting these checks. Depending on your role at Sleek, an adverse result on one of these checks may prohibit you from passing probation

The company’s product vision is that of an operating system for entrepreneurs. To do that, it has built use-case by use-case tools to automate tasks like bookkeeping, compliance and incorporation. Sleek provides many of these services for free and cross-sells them to more lucrative products.
The company has had an impressive journey, most recently securing substantial funding. This funding will help it enhance its automation-driven technology and expand its range of digital services. Already, the company serves over 16,000 SMEs in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia so it will be exciting to watch it grow further.
