Who you are
- You have 5+ years experience building extraordinary software as a Product Manager
- Experience in vertical SaaS is preferred
- Knowledge of the real estate, lending, or insurance industries is a plus
- Experience with Agile Product Development methodologies and scoping, executing, and delivering products to market
- Experience conducting user interviews
- Analytical and strategic with a proven track record of using data to validate assumptions
- Customer-obsessed with a love for enabling people to do their best work
- Oriented towards solving problems through listening, disambiguating, asking questions, and negotiating trade-offs
- Experience creating roadmaps and communicating them to executives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with high-level decision-makers
- While this role is based in San Francisco, CA, we're open to exploring remote possibilities for qualified candidates
What the job involves
- Qualia is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to fuel the continued improvement of its Core product
- In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust workflow tooling, becoming an expert in title and escrow production flows
- You will analyze and break down market opportunities, prioritizing internal and external feedback to develop a strategic roadmap supporting distribution and driving customer growth
- Translate customer needs into first-in-class solutions, collaborating with Engineering and Design to implement elegant and robust web products
- Discover opportunities for improving our clients’ workflows by working in close partnership with Sales and Customer Success to understand our customers
- Plan and deliver the medium-term roadmap and prioritize product development that considers the immediate needs and long-term vision of the company
- Write clear specifications that communicate problems, criteria, and context succinctly
- Analyze adoption and engagement data to build iteratively based on new information
Our take
For real estate agents, closing on a property involves a complex set of multiple transactions and endless paperwork, which can risk confusing and frustrating the buyer. The real estate industry has been slow to innovate and leverage technology to create a more streamlined experience, compared to industries such as retail.
Qualia is the first end-to-end online real estate closing platform. Its suite of products brings together homebuyers and sellers, lenders, title & escrow agents, and real estate agents onto one secure, remote platform. Since launching in 2015, over half a million real estate professionals have used Qualia for their clients.
Although fully digital real estate closings still account for only a small fraction of overall closings, the company is focused on enabling all existing participants to digitize — and eventually the entire industry. According to Qualia, it’s the only way to get enough scale to actually move the process forward.
