Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and establishing value-based customer relationships, and an ability to collaborate with prospective clients
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in sales or a sales department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills via phone and email
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of a company in an articulate and professional manner
- Strong intellectual curiosity, listening and empathy skills
- Effective time management skills: ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with strong attention to detail
- High energy and achievement-driven

- Passion for helping customers solve complex problems with innovative technology
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, a plus

What the job involves
- Bluesight seeks an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to work closely with sales team members and marketing to develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- We’re looking for someone who can drive revenue results through lead generation and new opportunity creation. This position will primarily call on hospital pharmacy and compliance leadership
- Collaborate with Sales team to identify and target strategic accounts that fit our ICP and prioritize plays using outbound cadences (~60% of focus)
- Take ownership of Marketing leads to continue to build on initial interest and develop willingness to consider, intent to act and book a qualified meeting with Sales (~40% of focus)
- Understand hospital pharmacy and compliance challenges and pain points and be able to articulate how Bluesight can help them
- Establish new business relationships with potential customers to facilitate a seamless handoff to sales executives
- Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in Salesforce and Apollo
