Who you are

5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably from software companies (SAAS)
CPA with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with Big-4 experience
Proficient knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 in specific
Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company
Ability to work autonomously, with solid decision making skills
Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong Excel knowledge and experience
Knowledge in BI tools
Experience with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Oracle-NetSuite and Salesforce

What the job involves

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and reporting processes as well as serve as a business partner for our Sales, CX, Legal and other business teams
Contribute toward the revenue controllership function of our NYC office
Serve as a business partner and provide ongoing support to our customer-facing teams
Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process according to US GAAP
Review and analyze agreements with customers and partners to ensure proper revenue recognition (ASC-606) and other accounting standards or internal policies are met
Prepare, maintain and analyze various reports supporting business needs
Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance current workflows and procedures internally, and in conjunction with other departments
Drive system enhancements and identify opportunities to optimize processes
Take part in implementing and communicating new finance policies
