Role
Who you are
- 5+ years experience in a Product Manager Role in an enterprise B2B platform and/or 2+ years experience as a Management Consultant
- Experience working on AI/ML-based products a plus
- Experience working in mortgage or financial services a plus
- You have a strong technical understanding and technical acumen, such that you can engage with your engineering counterparts in a collaborative and highly productive manner. You can also quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
- You have a go-getter mentality, excited to solve our most challenging problems. You demonstrate deep customer empathy and curiosity that's paired with knowledge of how to gather and synthesize customer needs
- Strong understanding of design principles to deliver a great user experience
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will own our strategic product goals for one of our new AI-based automation products. This product leverages AI to automate manual, costly workflows. You will own and develop the vision and roadmap for the Product
- You will come in, roll up your sleeves and collaborate with design and engineering to build this product and think creatively about how we can do more with less, set hypotheses, build, measure and learn
- You will keep key stakeholders informed on progress towards key goals and release timelines while demonstrating impeccable goal setting and proactive communication
- You will be the subject matter expert and develop deep empathy for our users and the challenges they face in order to create experiences that solve real pain points in their lives
- Develop products that transition the real estate industry from an archaic, paper-based workflow to a fully digitized experience
- Build technology that solves real customer problems, turning expensive, manual, error-prone processes into simple, intuitive automations that improve outcomes and save money
- Translate business goals into outcomes, delivering to a strategy via incremental releases in an agile environment
- Co-developing the go-to-market strategy for this product and the additional developments with Product Marketing
- Enabling and partnering with Customer Success to sell this new product to customers
Our take
Real estate closings tend to be inefficient and fragmented, so Snapdocs provides software for closing digital loans and mortgages. The company provides a suite of cloud-based products that simplify the process, reducing the cost of deals and increasing the efficiency of closing them.
The appeal of Snapdocs is that it connects all the various parties involved in establishing a mortgage. This eliminates much of the friction that can slow down closes, making everything swifter and more efficient. Like many industries, real estate is starting to favour the online space for improved customer experience, which creates great opportunities for the company.
An impressive list of settlement agents has started using the Snapdocs platform, including Googain, Bell Bank and Lenders One Cooperative. With good early uptake, the company is set for further expansion within the market as its patented technology sees more adoption, integration and implementation.
