Who you are
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Human Resources or another field with a specialization in HR, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR administration
- Experience in HR Administration: Prior experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on administrative HR tasks
- Experience in Centralized HR Environments: Previous experience in a centralized HR department or shared services organization is preferred, highlighting familiarity with structured and scalable HR administrative processes
- Administrative Case Management: Ability to handle a high volume of employee cases with a focus on detailed tracking, timely follow-up, and adherence to procedures
- Responsive and Composed Under Pressure: Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively, maintaining composure in high-stress situations to ensure smooth HR operations
- Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Strong multitasking ability with a focus on prioritizing tasks to maintain efficiency and responsiveness in a high-demand environment
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to adjust quickly to changing HR needs and remain flexible in task prioritization
- Listening and Empathy: Strong listening skills to understand the needs and expectations of operational staff and translate these into effective support
- Assertiveness and Diplomacy: Ability to be both flexible and firm in interactions, with strong persuasion skills to convey ideas, and projects, and negotiate effectively
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; German is a plus
What the job involves
- Anaplan is looking for an HR Generalist, EMEA
- Reporting to the Principal HR Business Partner, EMEA, and within the global HR team, you will provide support, advice, and solutions on HR topics (professional development, compensation, labor law, etc.) to the employees across EMEA
- You will also ensure some of the administrative management of this population
- France specific: write regulatory declarations (warnings, work accident declaration, follow-up semi-annual reviews for autonomous executives in France, review french contracts, etc.)
- Follow up and manage administratively disciplinary procedures, performance management, and dismissals
- Ensure the application of and compliance with labor law and the rules and procedures of collective agreements and applicable agreements
- Act as an interface between the company and external organizations (Social Security, training organizations, occupational medicine)
- Help to prepare Workers Council meetings / gather documents, etc
- Accompanying, guiding, and advising employees/managers on all issues related to HR matters (labor law, collective agreements, employment contracts, professional development, compensation, directing employees to the correct HR contact
- Listening to and relaying the needs and problems encountered in the field on HR issues (recruitment, training, working conditions, etc.)
- Ensuring that the employability of employees is maintained at a good level and, in this respect, supports managers in managing the skills of their teams
- Carrying out or participating in the carrying out of mandatory reports (social report, health, safety and working conditions report, government surveys, French staff register etc.)
- Participate in the analysis of training needs and the development of the skills development plan and the annual training plan
- Ensure the logistical organization and administrative management of training activities
- Optimize the training budget by mobilizing the various existing mechanisms
- Participate in the development and operational deployment of cross-functional HR projects

Anaplan provides cloud-based planning software across various use cases. The Anaplan platform replaces the patchwork of outdated tools (from the likes of Oracle, SAP and IBM) that don’t interact well with each other, and does away with the manual planning processes that are often overly complex, inefficient and costly.
The Anaplan platform can handle high volumes of data processed in real-time. The company’s modeling engine - based on proprietary Hyperblock technology - enables thousands of concurrent users to all access a centralized data pool. The technology lets users create detailed planning models that incorporate data down to the transaction level (across stores, employees and product SKUs) to improve decision making. While legacy planning solutions tend to be focused solely on the finance department, Anaplan’s platform enables collaborative planning across all areas. The company generates about 40% of its business from outside of core finance use cases.
There are multiple ways for the Anaplan platform to be used throughout any organisation - ranging from budgeting and forecasting to modelling and pricing optimisation. Planning tools can be put to work to gauge sales performance, handle departmental budgets, manage marketing spending, improve inventory management, and deal with IT project budgeting.
Anaplan has over 175 partners and more than 1,700 customers worldwide, and was acquired by Thomas Bravo in 2022, reconfirming its position as a leader in connected planning. Despite its solid position, the company was not immune to layoffs in 2023 due to the economic slowdown.
