Who you are
- 3-5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience; utility and/or electrical field service or engineering experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with applicant candidate tracking systems; experience with iCIMS preferred
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated team player; self-starter
- Effective time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and complete critical tasks with a sense of urgency
What the job involves
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn and Indeed)
- Craft and send recruiting emails
- Coordinate with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team to determine position requirements
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Provide talent insight and feedback on market conditions to build a recruiting strategy
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
- Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
- Promote our talent and employer brand online and offline
- Maintain candidate databases via our Applicant Tracking System and talent community
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
- Support recruiting calendar of events and participate in marketing of events
- Write, renew, revise and remove postings from job boards, social media platforms, and various professional sites
- Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
- Document new recruiting processes and revise existing ones as changes occur
- Work with leaders and talent acquisition team to create content for email campaigns, job advertisements, social media, etc
- Coordinate interview schedules for travel, lodging, and meeting and escorting applicant to interviews
- Organize files and content for the talent acquisition department
