Who you are

At least one internship experience in finance (VC, PE, M&A…) or strategy consulting
Strong entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity to understand the technology ecosystem
Strong modelling skills
Autonomy and multi-tasking
Full proficiency (fluent or native) in French and in English - a second and/or third language is a plus

What the job involves

Based in Paris, the intern will be part of the investment team and will be supervised by 8 investors in London, Paris, Munich and Berlin. She or he will be fully involved in all steps of the investment process
Sourcing: in-depth analysis of targeted sectors or geographies to identify potential new investment opportunities. Participation in industry forums and tech-related events
Assistance in the investment process: market reviews, work with industry experts, financial analysis and modeling, participation in meetings with companies, advisors, and partners, preparation of investment memos for Investment Committee. Make sure ESG processes and criteria are integrated all along the investment cycle and promoted among portfolio companies
Assistance in the fundraising process: preparation and update of presentation materials, sourcing of potential LPs, draft of follow-up emails, etc
Preparation of weekly meetings: deal flow review, new investment opportunities, and presentation of analyses carried out
Portfolio support: work with and help support the entrepreneurs and teams of our portfolio companies

Our take

Climate goals are at an all-time high, but the funding behind green-tech and sustainably forward companies sadly does not mimic what’s needed. Putting a dent in this much-needed funding market is Revaia, a growth equity investment fund hyper-focused on mission-driven companies with a passion for sustainability.

The VC firm is founded and led by two women who’ve now closed two substantial funds, which remains almost unheard of for female-led firms. In fact, the company prides itself on being Europe’s largest female-led firm, with a growing portfolio that includes the likes of Welcome to the Jungle and Frontify.

Having established a presence in Paris and Berlin, as well as in North America, Revaia is now focused on opening a London office to increase the fund’s exposure to Europe’s largest tech market. As it continues to support sustainable-minded companies from Series B to IPO or buyout, it will be interesting to see what impact the firm can have on the space.
