Role
Who you are
- We are eager to onboard a professional with at least 4+ years in mobile development, specifically skilled in:
- Mastery of Swift and Kotlin, with a proven track record of deploying to iOS and Android platforms
- A strong grasp of mobile development principles, including responsive design and mobile optimization
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS and Android applications to back-end services
- Understanding of performance testing, unit testing and E2E testing, optimization techniques, and best practices for mobile development
- Background in Agile development methodologies
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and ability to implement designs provided by designers
- EU work and residency permit
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices
- Understanding of App Store and Google Play submission processes
- Proficiency in English (B2+ level)
- Curiosity and a passion for solving complex problems through innovative solutions
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, thriving in team environments
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Supporting the team and collaborating at a technical level to deliver scalable projects
Desirable
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
What the job involves
- Appical is looking for a Medior Mobile Developer (Swift, Kotlin) to join our Product & Development team
- Amidst our rapid global expansion, we're seeking a dynamic Medior Mobile Developer with expertise in Swift and/or Kotlin to enhance our versatile development team
- Our mission is to ensure our innovative onboarding solutions continuously meet our customer's evolving needs
- Mobile app technology stack: Swift, Kotlin, Firebase, alongside other relevant mobile development tools and libraries
- Develop and maintain clean high-quality, responsive, and performant mobile applications using Swift for IOS and Kotlin for Android
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into mobile applications that are both user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing
- Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services into the mobile applications
- Prioritize application performance and work towards optimizing it for scalability and efficiency
- Conduct comprehensive functional tests to ensure the reliability and quality of mobile applications
- Engage in code reviews to foster high standards of code quality and adherence to best practices
- Stay abreast of current trends and advances in mobile development, including new tools, languages, and libraries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and product launches
- Participate in planning and execution of sprints and releases
- Document mobile development processes, guidelines, and standards
- Mentor junior developers and help them grow their skills and knowledge
- Provide guidance and support to team members as needed
- A dynamic fulltime position (32 - 40 hours)
