Who you are
- Have at least 2 years of full-time professional experience (internships not included), ideally in sales within the tech industry. Experience in consulting is a plus
- You are fluent in English and Spanish or Italian or German or French (bonus if you speak more than one of those)
- Know how to adapt your communication style depending on who you're talking to
- Communicate clearly, both in writing and in conversation
- Stay organized and focus on the most important tasks
- Must be able to work from Paris, France. If you're relocating, we’ll support you with a relocation package
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our International team in Paris. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new leads, introducing Yousign’s solution to potential customers, and qualifying sales opportunities
- Use a mix of cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling to generate new leads in the Italian market
- Speak with small and medium businesses across European markets (Italy, Spain, French and DACH region) to understand their needs and explain how Yousign can help
- Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing, and Product teams to improve the customer journey, refine messaging, and share feedback
- Keep the CRM system up to date and ensure accurate data. Share your sales pipeline and report on daily activity clearly
- You will be the first point of contact for potential clients

Our take
The global electronic signature market is projected to grow to over $35 billion by 2029. Well-known Adobe Sign and DocuSign have been in the game for a while, though YouSign has stepped onto the scene hoping to become the eSignature platform predominantly used by the European market.
The company has two signature products, a web app that is ready to use from anywhere and an API, which can be easily integrated into business softwares. The signatures are eIDAS-compliant and legally binding so clients can focus more on their productivity and teamwork and worry less about paperwork.
The company targets new customers rather than attempting to convert from competitors - SMBs are its target market, hoping to show newer businesses the need for and ease of electronic signatures. Acquiring $ 36.6 million in 2021 in a round of funding meant the company could scale its team and market share. In early 2022 YouSign bought Canyon, a documentation and workflow automation specialist. This means that YouSign is now propelling into a new dimension.
