Role
Who you are
- 0-2+ years of experience in a high-tech B2B marketing, inside sales, or sales development environment
- A strong hunter mentality and work ethic driven by a healthy level of competitiveness
- High motivation and resilience in a very fast-paced environment where change is constant
- Experience identifying and contacting prospective customers, utilizing a multi-approach prospecting methodology - cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn/social connections
- Proven capabilities and skills in lead management, account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time and territory management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a focus on collaboration
- Someone who can celebrate their teammates' success as much as their own but also motivated by fear of letting teammates/themselves down
- Professional proficiency working with Salesforce or other CRM Systems is preferred
What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative at Tive, you will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities for the EMEA market by researching good-fit companies and setting introductory meetings with target accounts for our sales team by generating interest about Tive and the challenges we can help them solve
- Making Cold Calls and Prospecting New Accounts to help fill our pipeline with qualified opportunities. This will be a high activity volume position
- Generating qualified prospective and customer meetings for Account Executives
- Researching new, key accounts within our ideal customer profile to understand their current initiatives, plans, and challenges to craft personalized and account-based messaging that will be delivered via the phone, email, and social media
- Owning your pipeline and treat it like an abbreviated sales cycle, with a constant influx of new accounts as older ones are prospected into and qualified/disqualified
- Become a Tive subject-matter expert through continued learning and development to understand our solutions and competitive positioning within the market
- Scheduling well-qualified appointments set by outbound outreach with key decision makers within Tive’s ICP
- Using tools including Salesforce (CRM), Salesloft (Sales Campaigns), Zoom Info, Cognism (Account/Buyer Intent), LinkedIn Sales Navigator and G-Suite (email, file sharing, collaboration) to conduct outreach

Traditionally, shipment tracking has been complicated, unreliable and expensive. Tive’s platform allows businesses to constantly track and update their supply chain to enable a dynamic and flexible approach to international commerce.
Tive’s system is based around sensors that accompany shipments, allowing real-time product tracking with data uploaded to the cloud. This system allows clients access to location, shipment integrity and climate status, allowing businesses to better understand how their products are shipped.
Tive serves customers across the shipping industry, a huge market that is still on the rise. This has fuelled its expansion, with the company already having clients ranging from consumer packaged goods, logistics, produce, and retail, including Alpine Fresh, Fastly, and Aviagen. $40 million in 2025 Series C funding will help Tive bring even more solutions to its growing customer base.
