BetterCloud’s deep API connections enable IT teams to monitor user behavior, system configurations, and data activity across the SaaS applications used by a business.
The company has since morphed into a hugely successful SaaS provider and is used by more than 45,000 IT professionals, with customers including the likes of Zoom, Walmart, and Square.
The global SaaS market is estimated to be worth more than $200 billion and is growing substantially each year. This means that BetterCloud faces a huge amount of competition in its niche, including from Zylo as well as larger firms such as LeanIX and Vendr which have been acquiring BetterCloud's smaller rivals.
Nonetheless, the investment community has recognized the benefit of BetterCloud, consequently contributing over $185 million in funding to help scale the company and develop its product. With thousands of customers worldwide, the SaaS provider is widely recognised to be one of the most innovative software firms in the field.
