- Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail

- You are flexible in your work style with the ability to work on multiple work streams at once, are able to prioritize work based on changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets for daily tasks
- Knowledge of Confluence and Monday.com is a plus
What the job involves
- 6-Month Part-Time, up to 20 hours/week, starting Summer 2024 ending Winter 2024
- Our Business Development team is excited to offer a part-time internship lasting six months, starting in Summer 2024 and extending for 20 hours per week
- This paid internship presents a chance to delve into partner operations management, working with leading distributed energy and Internet-of-Things (IoT) product manufacturers while making a meaningful impact on climate change
- The Business Development Intern will play a pivotal role in various projects related to onboarding, launching, and managing partners participating in our utility programs
- Collaborating with Partner Operations Managers to ensure optimal performance from EnergyHub's network of over 50 distributed energy and IoT partners
- Coordinating the launch of EnergyHub partners into new utility grid service programs, including drafting and executing Statements of Work and liaising with partners to ensure successful operational, technical, and marketing launches
- Managing workflows and signatures for NDAs, SOWs, and contracts with both new and existing partners
- Facilitating the review of partner legal documents with the Legal team
- Updating Confluence with documentation related to partners and refining partner management processes
- Maintaining and updating partner records in Salesforce, including involvement in special projects
- Creating and monitoring dashboards to track ongoing team operations
- Engaging with partners regularly to ensure fulfillment of obligations in current utility programs
- Other duties as assigned
Our take
Power grids are becoming increasingly complicated due to the increased usage of distributed energy resources (DER) in homes such as electric vehicles, home batteries, and thermostats. This complexity arises from the fragmented nature of DER providers and their lack of integration with management systems, making it difficult for renewable energy and other advanced grid services to operate reliably.
EnergyHub provides a DER management system that facilitates the management of DERs at scale, helping to provide the digital infrastructure for flexible electricity demand, voltage and frequency regulation and real-time analytics. It also provides end-to-end support for the acquisition, enrollment, and aggregation of customer-owned DERs.
Whilst the DER industry faces significant challenges in integrating into existing power grids, EnergyHub is providing the infrastructural and data flexibility required to future-proof the reliability of power networks. The company partners with major DER providers - Siemens, Nest and Tesla to name a few - and provides the technical support required for them to meet their long-term strategic goals and work towards a renewable future.
