- You have experience leading software system implementation projects
- You have experience with setting priorities, creating project plans, and monitoring progress towards goals/activities
- You can proactively identify and report on risks, issues, and dependencies for the project
- You have strong process management skills, with the ability to contribute to building new processes and systems desirable
- You know how to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and succinctly, user experience, UI, and technical issues, as well as business and product requirements
- You have a solid understanding of database/data warehouse/business intelligence architecture and confidence conversing in technical SaaS terminology to develop core requirements
- You have a consultative approach to problem-solving and excellent judgment
- You possess exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across organizational boundaries to drive closure of complex delivery challenges
- You have experience working with the following systems: Notion, Clarizen, SalesForce, Freshdesk, Google Suite, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets)
- Experience with SQL or scripting languages is a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for an innovative, self-starting, and critical thinking person to join our Project Management (PM) team
- You will be fully immersed in the implementation process, adding value to our clients and the team on a daily basis
- They also have a product mind and want to contribute to improving the product at a mission-driven company
- Reporting To: Manager, Implementation Services
- Lead successful, standard, out of the box customer implementations across our product suite, communicating and working directly with clients
- Get involved with our support processes; flex your critical thinking and problem solving skills to help users navigate the platform as questions arise
- Drive admin and end user functional training; develop training resources for campuses and lead tailored training meetings for institutional use cases
- Make informed, data-driven feature recommendations; source information through research and speaking with university administrators to ideate scalable solutions to present to our product team
- Work with our Data Engineering team members to support implementations
- Partner with the product team on feature recommendations
- Interact with engineering to resolve technical integration issues
- Develop deep product knowledge and speak eloquently about the product
- Demonstrate competence in our existing implementation cycle
- Empathize with the problems facing our customers

Higher Education is in crisis. The cost of education is skyrocketing, while only 33% of students in the US graduate in four years, and issues of equity and access are worsening. A big part of this can be put down to a lack of proper scheduling: 75% of universities operate entirely on legacy, on-premise software, resulting in millions of frustrated students saddled with heaps of debt.
Coursedog has set out to solve this. An integrated academic operations platform that helps higher education maximize operational efficiency, its strategy is based on market disruption, using data innovation to accelerate student success. The global curriculum-mapping software market has really started to pick up in recent years, and Coursedog will face stiff competition from the likes of Top Hat, Kiddom, and PlanbookEdu. That being said, Coursedog's focus on accelerating product development has it well placed to continue poaching market share.
