Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with direct ownership of PM and/or TPM hiring
- Demonstrated success recruiting senior-level PMs and TPMs in fast-growing or highly technical environments
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, technical infrastructure concepts, and cross-functional execution
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions through data, insight, and judgment
- Deep expertise in passive sourcing, including LinkedIn and other strategic sourcing channels
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality or candidate experience
- Confidence navigating compensation discussions, including equity-based offers
- High attention to detail and a track record of maintaining clean, accurate documentation in an ATS
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a dynamic environment
- Startup or high-growth company experience is strongly preferred
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing Product & Platform organization.
- This individual will serve as the primary owner of Product Manager (PM) and Technical Program Manager (TPM) hiring, partnering closely with senior product, engineering, and infrastructure leaders
- This role is designed for a highly autonomous recruiter who can run complex, high-bar hiring end-to-end, manage senior stakeholders, and operate as a true talent partner.
- You will inherit an active, high-impact requisition load and play a critical role in enabling the recruiting team to scale by taking ownership of execution while leadership focuses on strategy, planning, and org design
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Product Managers and Technical Program Managers, including senior and principal-level roles
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on role scoping, leveling, market dynamics, and hiring tradeoffs
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Executive stakeholders to deeply understand business priorities and hiring needs
- Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies for highly specialized PM and TPM profiles
- Proactively identify, engage, and assess both active and passive candidates for current and future needs
- Conduct high-signal recruiter screens focused on product judgment, technical depth, execution rigor, and leadership capability
- Manage candidate pipelines with precision, ensuring strong momentum, clear communication, and an exceptional candidate experience
- Lead offer strategy discussions, including compensation, equity, leveling, and closing, in partnership with leadership and compensation teams
- Maintain impeccable data hygiene in the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate tracking, dispositioning, and reporting
- Build and nurture long-term talent networks for PM and TPM talent to support ongoing and future hiring needs
- Represent the company at networking events, industry meetups, and recruiting initiatives as needed
Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
