Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in (management) consulting, setting up new channels or building your own startup or initiative
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you like to go from 0 to 100
- An extensive network and established credibility within the installation sector is a pre
- Commercial go-getter: ability to develop new business relationships, including skills in outreach, event networking, and B2B marketing
- Bias to action; a proactive approach and ability to get things done fast in a dynamic scale-up environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- You enjoy being hands-on involved with daily operations
- Digital-savvy: ability to navigate and leverage digital tools in your daily work to the fullest
- Fluent in Dutch, proficient in English
What the job involves
- As our Business Development Manager for New Channels, you will be responsible for establishing and opening a new sales channel by setting up collaborations with a large number of traditional boiler and HVAC installation companies in the Netherlands
- You will develop different ways of working together and test and scale what works well
- Develop a new initiative from the ground up. Initially, you will run this like your own startup within Quatt
- Build a profitable and scalable proposition for each important segment in this new channel, for both Quatt and the installer
- Determine and sketch what (internal) tools need to be built to work efficiently with these partners
- Talk to installation companies to onboard the first partners and test your proposition. If it doesn’t work, you will pivot and tweak until it does
- Set up a process to efficiently source, vet and close potential installation companies capable of delivering these services at the required quality level
- Set up a commercial framework and service agreements with a diverse range of installation companies, from small firms to large enterprises
- When you found a scalable model, ensure that we can scale it by hiring the right kinds of people. You will be in charge of hiring and building a team of people to contract and manage these relations
- Work closely with our sales, operations and IT teams to integrate these partners’ services seamless into new marketing, sales, installation and service processes
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partner processes and performance
