Role
Who you are

- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- 7+ years of experience in managing a small to medium software development teams
- 4+ years of experience on senior engineering roles (designing APIs, abstractions, and tools used by other engineers)
Desirable
- Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL
- Databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, performance monitoring
- Strong knowledge of some other technology stack (e.g. Python / Unix, Java, mobile platforms)
- B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field

- ServiceTitan is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager who will help us build and lead teams within the engineering organization at ServiceTitan
- Lead and drive the delivery of mission-critical foundational/platform projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes
- Be hands-on in architecture, design, and implementation, contributing immediately in a modern .NET/Azure environment
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project goals and ensure seamless integration of foundational systems
- Unlock the full potential of a highly skilled team ranging from Senior to Principal engineers, fostering an environment of excellence and high performance
- Participate actively in designing highly available and scalable systems, providing technical expertise to guide the team
- Report progress regularly to stakeholders, maintaining transparency on project status and delivery timelines
- Prioritize the delivery of critical projects while supporting engineers' professional growth and success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams to facilitate collaboration on foundational initiatives
- Encourage a culture of ownership and accountability within the team, driving commitment to project goals
- Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, customers, partners, and other leaders to align on objectives and expectations

The rising demand for home services across the country helped shine a spotlight on the lack of modern software for trades, ServiceTitan answered this call for innovation providing support to 11,800+ customers across 10 trades.
2021 saw the company reach a $9.5 billion valuation, however, in the last few months of 2022, there was talk of raising additional funds in traditional equity - as opposed to debt-like funding- which could result in a 20% lower valuation.
That said, the company is showing no sign of slowing, acquiring two more companies in 2022, and is eyeing an IPO off the back of reaching Series G in funding rounds. In addition, the company launched its next-generation operating system, Titan Intelligence, providing a suite of AI-based solutions. ServiceTitan is well set to experience further growth.
