Role
Who you are
- 1-2 Years of experience as a QA in robotics or in a fast paced Manufacturing or Industrial environment (heavy machinery/vehicles or Automotive preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing best practices, quality control, and non-conformance management
- Eager to learn about new technologies and being hands-on with robots and other hardware
- Strong knowledge of mechanical tooling, multimeter, measuring instruments (caliper, inclinometer, etc.)
- Basic computer skills to deal with: Google docs, sheets, presentations, other quality management software, ERP, etc

What the job involves
- Inspect FoxBots, supplier parts, and internally built components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Disassemble robots (if needed) to inspect individual parts
- Communicate results of inspections and properly verify repairs/rework
- Write non-conformance reports to document deficiencies and issues of robots and its components
- Perform inventory checks when needed
- This is a second shift job working the hours of 3:00 - 11:00 pm

Fox Robotics is a manufacturer of self-driving forklifts that are more flexible, capable, and safer to use than previous models. The start-up has developed the first automated trailer unloader, a highly in-demand service that no other company offers.
Unlike standard AGVs, Fox’s forklifts can be installed and running in a new warehouse in less than a day, compared to the weeks it might normally take for integration. On top of this, its mobile robot products are relatively low-cost when compared to fixed automation systems that cost several hundred million dollars - making it a strong option in the growing warehouse automation market.
Fox Robotics' innovative approach has enabled it to capture significant interest in the space, as well as strong investment. Its latest raise will go towards broadening and accelerating product development, as the company embarks upon an aggressive expansion strategy.
