Role
Who you are
- 4-6 years of product marketing experience at a technology company, ideally in a fast-growing, high-change environment
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product, marketing, and sales to bring products and features to market
- Experience owning end-to-end go-to-market execution, including positioning, messaging, launches, and GTM-ready assets
- The ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer-centered value
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a scrappy, adaptable approach and bias toward action
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, paired with a collaborative mindset
- Experience marketing hardware and/or hardware-plus-software subscription products

What the job involves
- We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market for one of Flock Safety’s core hardware product lines.
- This is a high-impact, deeply cross-functional role at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Revenue.
- You’ll define how the product is positioned and understood in the market, and ensure that narrative shows up consistently across launches, campaigns, and sales enablement
- This role is responsible for understanding the needs of our customers and shaping how the product experience and story come together across channels. It helps define what we bring to market, how we talk about it, and when — from feature launches to broader platform moments — while maintaining a clear, cohesive narrative that resonates with both public and private sector buyers.

- The First 30 Days
- Build a deep understanding of the end-to-end hardware and software experience for your product line, including current gaps and constraints
- Review existing positioning, messaging, sales assets, and campaigns tied to the product
- The First 60 Days
- Define or refine clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for your product line
- Align Product and Sales around that narrative and embed it into priority GTM assets
- 90 Days & Beyond
- Fully own the go-to-market strategy for your product line and operate as its GTM lead
- Influence roadmap, packaging, and pricing decisions using customer insight and competitive context
Our take
Public vehicle surveillance provides valuable insights to emergency services for the prevention of crime, but bringing information together to create leads is difficult. There's no standardised system for inter-city vehicle surveillance, and this makes it difficult for communities and law enforcement services to work together.
Flock Safety provides surveillance equipment that aims to improve the abilities of law enforcement and homeowner associations to communicate data with each other. The company focuses on vehicle surveillance, innovating on existing technology by using machine learning to categorise vehicles by color, license plate, state, and other data points.
Whilst automated surveillance equipment is used daily within federal police forces, Flock Safety builds technology systems that provide a means for smaller law enforcement agencies to quantify and share surveillance data easily.
