Role
Who you are
- 8+ years' experience in analytics engineering, data modelling, or a similar role
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining robust product metrics frameworks (e.g., activation, retention, engagement, funnel analysis)
- Proven track record of building scalable, maintainable product analytics infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive mindset and a desire to take full ownership of the data layer
- Experience leading or mentoring other analysts is a plus

- You'll build and scale a high-performing analytics team embedded within our product squads
- This team will play a key role in influencing product direction, validating ideas, and uncovering new opportunities to grow engagement and retention
- You'll sit at the heart of our product-led growth strategy
- Helping us understand how users activate, engage with insights, and return
- Your work will directly inform how we prioritise, iterate, and measure success
- This is a leadership role focused on building a world-class analytics function across people, processes, and tooling
- You'll define how data powers decision-making across the product organisation and ensure analytics is a key lever for product strategy at MANUAL
- Own and evolve our product analytics strategy, architecture and roadmap
- Build and maintain scalable, well-documented processes powering business-critical reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand data needs across Growth, Product, Marketing, and Operations
- Champion best practices in testing, version control, and documentation
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring trust in our data
- Mentor and grow a high-performing product analytics team
- Drive adoption of self-serve analytics by enabling stakeholders with clean, well-structured tooling and dashboards

MANUAL is a digital healthcare clinic supporting patients with life-changing conditions such as hormonal imbalance, obesity, menopause and hair loss across the UK and Brazil. It does this with a blend of doctor-specialist services, prescription medication backed by science, and digital products informed by behavioural change.
It works to remove the stigma around health problems such as obesity, hormone imbalances and menopause through teleconsultations, testing, regular check-ins and a range of tools, supplements and medications to treat common issues like poor sleep, hair loss, erectile dysfunction and skin conditions. Originally focused solely on men's health, the service led a shift in attitudes among its customers, with about half the men using the service to treat more than one condition, indicating that they're not just seeking help for the worst health issue that they're experiencing. Since then it has opened its services to all genders with a hope to sift attitudes on a wider variety of health issues.
The company has raised an impressive amount of capital, most recently in 2024. And this funding is being used to expand its reach and enhance its services, particularly focussing on treatments for hormonal imbalance, obesity, and hair loss.
