Who you are
- Experience in a fast-paced accounting/administrative role in a corporate environment, considered an asset
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- An accounting diploma or equivalent along with experience in an accounting environment is preferred
- Experience in the Epic Broker Management System is an asset

What the job involves
- Performing daily bank reconciliation for all bank accounts on a timely basis
- Performing monthly bank reconciliation for all bank accounts on a timely basis and make commentary as necessary
- Reconciling and maintaining working paper support for monthly bank reconciliation
- Handling requests for stop-payment on cheques in BMO OLBB
- Monitoring cash flow and assist in the preparation of periodic cash flow estimates
- Assisting in month-end close and year-end review engagement working paper preparation
- Producing, validating, and distributing various reports and statements
- Maintaining an efficient, standardized electronic and paper filing system
- Reconciling and maintaining Excel working paper support for various balance sheet accounts
- Preparing and posting general journal entries, maintain recurring system entries
- Preparing and posting vendor payments ensuring timely settlement and accurate GL coding
- Performing various other tasks as may be required to support the accounting function
