Role
Who you are
- 10+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Client Services roles within B2B SaaS or technology environments, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven success driving revenue retention and expansion across complex, high-value customer portfolios
- Experience building and scaling account management or customer success teams, including process creation and team development
- Strong commercial acumen — skilled in consultative selling, negotiation and renewal management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing internal and external decision-makers
- Analytical mindset with experience developing reporting frameworks for customer health and satisfaction
- Thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments where adaptability and initiative are key
- Highly collaborative with strong leadership presence and a bias toward action
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages a plus

What the job involves
- As Director of Account Management, you’ll define and lead how Fresco builds long-term, value-driven partnerships with our customers
- You’ll be responsible for creating and executing the account management strategy, ensuring our customers not only renew but expand their engagement as they realise the full potential of our platform
- You’ll design the frameworks and processes that will underpin how Fresco delivers customer success at scale — blending strategic leadership with hands-on partnership management for key enterprise accounts
- This is both a player-coach role and a chance to lay the foundation for a best-in-class Account Management function in a scaling SaaS business
- Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
- Strategic Account Leadership: Own the commercial relationship for key strategic and enterprise-level customers, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring they achieve measurable ROI
- Retention & Growth: Drive renewal, expansion, and advocacy within your portfolio; proactively identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with the CCO
- Process & Playbook Development: Build scalable account management processes, playbooks, and KPIs that can be replicated across the team as we grow
- Customer Insights: Partner closely with Product, Delivery and Marketing to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap priorities and go-to-market campaigns
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture centered on customer impact and commercial excellence
- Forecasting & Reporting: Develop account health tracking systems, renewal forecasts, and executive dashboards to ensure clear visibility into customer sentiment and business performance
- Executive Engagement: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions with C-level customer stakeholders

However, whilst all of these features are useful independently, many criticize them for their lack of connectivity with each other, showing a demand for an integrated solution.
Fresco supplies an app for smart home cooking, providing personalized tools that connect smart appliances and provide an augmented cooking experience. Users can view recipes based on the ingredients they have, follow step-by-step cooking instructions, control kitchen appliances remotely, and save their favourite recipes for future use.
Whilst cooking apps have been helping people for years, Fresco has taken this a step further by working directly with the appliances and ingredients in the user’s kitchen. With significant funding to support the broadening of its reach to more manufacturers and consumers globally, the company can continue encouraging people to cook more frequently due to the convenience that it provides.
