Product and Experience Designer, Openr

• Proficiency in Figma, with hands-on experience maintaining and evolving a design system and using component libraries effectively.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility

Desirable

• Take ownership of design across the Openr platform from early discovery through to final UI
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to shape features from idea to implementation
• Maintain and evolve our Figma-based design system, ensuring consistency and scalability
• Run user walkthroughs and gather feedback to inform iterative design decisions
• Design for both near-term delivery and long-term vision, including exploring how we can use AI and automation
• Help us build a strong, user-focused design culture as we scale

• 1. Intro Chat (15 mins). A quick, informal call to say hi, tell you a bit more about Openr, and hear what you’re looking for. It’s a chance to ask early questions and get a feel for the role
• 2. Culture-Add Interview (45–60 mins). We’re big believers in culture add, not culture fit. This conversation is about understanding what you value, how you like to work, and what you bring to a growing team — as well as what you need from us to do your best work
• 3. Technical / Functional Interview (60–90 mins). This is where we dive into the craft. We’ll explore your design process, talk through some real scenarios, and review some of your previous work or thinking. No whiteboards or trick questions — just a good conversation about how you solve problems and collaborate
