Who you are

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong iPaaS expertise, significant JavaScript and SQL experience, and hands-on Python skills
You should thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy tackling complex integration challenges with a problem-solving mindset
Proficiency with iPaaS platforms (specifically Prismatic or similar tools like MuleSoft, Zapier, or Dell Boomi)
Extensive experience with JavaScript for scripting, automation, and customization
Strong SQL skills for data queries, transformation, and optimization
Hands-on experience with Python for automation and integrations
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively
Familiarity with debugging, monitoring tools, and performance optimization
Understanding of ERP systems and other enterprise software is a plus
Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and integration protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP)
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple integrations simultaneously

What the job involves

We are seeking a mid-to-senior-level Integration Engineer to join our Delivery team
This role focuses on the technical development, maintenance, and optimization of integrations using the Prismatic platform
You will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity between our platform and various enterprise systems, such as ERP and PLM tools, enabling efficient and reliable data flow

Our take

As supply chain issues are becoming one of the greatest stumbling blocks across all industrial sectors, Cofactr’s platform allows companies to quickly search, price, and procure electrical parts from its network of distributors in an attempt to mitigate supply shortages.

While Cofactr hasn’t yet caused much of a stir in industry media, it’s telling that the company has been quietly attracting plenty of VC interest. As well as being selected as a Y Combinator W22 startup, Bain Capital Ventures has shown its faith by investing heavily at the early stages.

As well as potentially having an answer to obvious supply chain issues, Cofactr’s attractiveness may well have something to do with co-founders Matthew Haber and Phillip Gulley, who enjoyed great success with and ultimately sold R&D firm BeSide Digital in 2019.

With plenty of funding secured, the next big steps for Cofactr will be to continually refine its tech performance as the company looks to win more customers and scale up.
