Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience designing user-centric experiences across responsive web, with a portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and process
  • Strong expertise in Figma and other UX/UI design tools, with experience in creating and contributing to design systems
  • Proven experience in improving critical aspects of the user journey, such as onboarding, billing, or customer support workflows
  • A deep understanding of UX design principles, including accessibility and usability standards, particularly within complex or enterprise-level applications
  • Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for user experience improvements
  • Required to work on-site in Miami Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday

  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms with a focus on optimizing the customer journey and internal business workflows
  • Familiarity with creating, implementing, and managing design systems that ensure consistency while allowing for flexibility in specific areas

What the job involves

  • We are excited to be hiring a Senior Product Designer with a deep passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • As a strategic designer, you will be a critical player in shaping the customer journey at Kandji.
  • You’ll work with our Experience team to design new features from the ground up, optimize our onboarding process, and own/advance our design system.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, other designers, and cross-functional teams such as Revenue and Marketing on growth initiatives and executing design strategies that enhance our product.
  • Your expertise in simplifying complex workflows and creating highly polished and scalable UI components will drive the success of our platform and improve customer satisfaction
  • Design and document user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes that enhance the user experience, focusing on critical areas such as onboarding, billing, and user journeys
  • Use data-driven insights, including user research, analytics, and customer feedback, to inform design decisions and create user-centered solutions
  • Advocate for the end-user by ensuring every design decision improves usability, accessibility, and the overall experience
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iterate on design concepts and refine the user experience
  • Maintain the design system and drive the adoption and continuous improvement of the design system across the organization
  • Dive deep into user needs and workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and simplify complex interactions
  • Participate in user research activities, such as usability testing and customer interviews, to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback
  • Maintain a high standard for design quality and consistency, ensuring all deliverables align with our overall product vision
  • Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the user experience is thoughtfully crafted
  • Embrace a hands-on approach, whether you’re conducting user research, defining micro-interactions, or collaborating on UI components

Device and application management is essential for the maintenance of an IT stack, with particular emphasis on frequent updating and compliance. This can be a laborious and repetitive task, so management software exists to automate these processes. However, existing solutions are generally aimed towards IT departments running on Windows.

Kandji provides a mobile device management platform that facilitates the remote maintenance of Apple-based IT stacks. Users can manage IT devices, applications, networking and compliance within a zero-touch automation system. The need for this service in companies using Apple hardware is clear: it has been adopted by major enterprises such as Belkin, Crunchbase and Notion.

Launched in 2019, the company has completed multiple rounds of funding and is continuing to grow at a rapid pace. As the Apple device management market is also expanding at speed, Kandji is well poised to continue its run of success.
