Who you are
- Creator: You’re happy to build something from the ground up, and use your innovation skills along the way
- You have 5-8+ years of proven experience building or scaling a global Talent Acquisition function in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment in an ‘in-house’ people function, and setting high-standards for the function
- You have prior experience in developing a strong employee brand to attract top talent
- Expert: You’re extremely knowledgeable and resourceful and have a great familiarity with recruitment approaches, tools, platforms, and industry trends, particularly in the tech world
- You have 5+ years of experience working in technology or related industries
- You have exceptional skills in end-to-end recruitment including undertaking phone screenings, interviews, active sourcing activities, creating job adverts, building talent pipelines, networking, and pipeline development with familiarity with hiring for technical roles (engineering, product etc)
- You have prior knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing tools and prior experience of successfully implementing ATS
- Problem Solver: You're comfortable problem solving & making decisions on complex TA topics with high levels of ambiguity in a results driven environment
- You have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Influencer: You’re comfortable influencing and exceptional at building relationships with stakeholders across the business to get things done to the agreed timescales
- You have strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how talent drives business outcomes
- You have the ability to build trust and credibility expeditiously with stakeholders and hiring managers
- You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage insights to inform recruitment decisions
- Proactive Doer: You’re a self-starting doer who is extremely organised and diligent, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly
- You have experience managing and actively participating in the full recruitment lifecycle across various disciplines

What the job involves
- Talent Acquisition Strategy Development
- Partner with the VP of People to design the company’s talent acquisition strategy, aligned with business goals, owning and executing the strategy accordingly
- Establish processes, systems, and metrics to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines (e.g., technical, sales, operational roles) including undertaking phone screenings, interviews, active sourcing activities, creating job adverts and building talent pipelines
- Proactively source active and passive candidates using creative channels and tools (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, networking) to develop talent pipelines to meet current and future needs
- Create and conduct structured assessments, screening and interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to identify the best talent
- Candidate Experience
- Create a seamless and engaging candidate journey, reflecting the company culture at every touchpoint
- Ensure timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process to assist in providing a superior candidate experience
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights and guidance on talent availability and trends
- Brand Building
- Develop, execute, champion and enhance the employer brand through engaging and innovative social media content, events, and other creative channels in partnership with the Marketing team
- Leverage storytelling to communicate the company’s mission and culture to potential candidates
- Continuous Improvement
- Implement data-driven decision-making to optimise recruitment performance and ensure processes are as efficient as possible
- Stay informed on best practices and market trends, adopting innovative approaches where relevant
- Lead the successful implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to enhance recruitment processes across the organisation.
