Role
Who you are
- Long-term experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Python, GraphQL, RabbitMQ and any front-end framework
- Prior experience with microservices architecture, database design, SQL, and CI/CD
- Experience with React.js and TypeScript in both front-end and backend (Node.js) is a great plus
- Good command of English and great communication skills
- High level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility

What the job involves
- The Verification Platform team ensures the smooth functioning of our core platform across various product offerings and aims to expedite the data cycle for improving ML models
- The team has ambitious plans ahead and is looking for someone experienced to join and contribute leadership
- Join the Verification Platform team and work on a product platform that customers and internal engineering teams rely upon
- Writing high-quality, maintainable, tested, and efficient code with TypeScript, Python, and GraphQL
- Doing (and receiving) code reviews and providing feedback to your peers
- Identifying and advocating the use of new technologies, libraries, tools, and best practices in the team and across Veriff
- Collaborating with other engineers both inside and outside the team to find solutions to complex problems
- Mentoring, guiding, and aligning the team to ensure they have and maintain competency
- Leading architectural planning and alignment within the team
Our take
Veriff started when the founder tried to access one of the worlds largest online marketplaces underage. He realised that, with some slight photo editing, he could easily break through their verification process. The company believes that identity is a valuable asset, and delivers real safety, protection and transparency to interactions online.
Veriff combines technical advancements in facial recognition, social ID, device ID and more into a SaaS model, that is easy to use and accessible to companies of all sizes. The service includes features such as real-time identity document verification, automated "Proof of Address" processes, and automated SSN Verification.
Veriff has continued to add to its offerings with new technologies and improvements. The considerable funds raised by the company in 2022 fuelled continued research and development, as well as enabling it to hire more talent into its team. Partnerships with the likes of SonoSuite, a digital tech provider for the music industry, indicate Veriff's continued expansion of its products into new markets.
