Who you are
- Are you passionate about being at the forefront of the ever-evolving digital advertising industry?

- Possess 4+ years of relevant experience in a customer success or similar customer-facing function
- Have advanced knowledge of social advertising (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat etc)
- Are highly empathetic, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help our customers reach their goals
- Have a results-driven mentality, with a bias for action and collaboration
- Are able to explain complex concepts clearly and translate data into insights
- Have self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit
- Have strong spoken and written communication skills
- Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events (when possible)
- Legal right to work in the US
What the job involves
- As an Agency Customer Success Manager at Smartly, you'll take ownership of a book of enterprise agencies from the first week, give consultative advice, scope and drive successful product adoption and grow agency engagement
- You’ll get a front row seat to the fast-paced online marketing industry, which will allow you to learn quickly about growing and nurturing your own book of business, and support agency team members to drive results for their clients with the Smartly platform
- Act as the main point of contact for agency activation partners to deliver an exceptional experience, ensure they get the most value out of their social advertising, and foster long-term collaborative relationships
- Be a specialist in the Smartly platform and digital advertising in general so as to be able to continuously solve problems for agencies and provide best practices and consultative advice
- Closely partner with Agency Sales to develop and execute a comprehensive agency development strategy to drive awareness and adoption
- Collaborate effectively across functions including Agency Sales, Agency Onboarding, Technical Solutions, Product and Engineering, driving alignment on how functions and resources will fuel growth initiatives
- Partner closely with Onboarding teams on training procedures and developing agency teams on how to effectively use the Smartly platform
- Build and deliver programs to educate agency teams on Smartly solutions
- Build and foster strong relationships with agencies as well as partners like Meta, Snap, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google
- Be the voice of agencies to inform our product roadmap
- Help Smartly build a world-class Agency Customer Success organization; contribute to build a library of knowledge that differentiates us from competitors and helps win and grow agency businesses, optimize existing processes within the company and actively enhance all Customer Success initiatives
Our take
Smartly.io helps advertisers automate their campaigns across the largest media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. After seeing quick success following Facebook’s 2012 IPO, the company now works with over 700 brands including eBay, Uber, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour, and TechStyle.
Its suite of tools automatically creates ads and videos from product images, handling budget allocation, audience targeting, and where and when to purchase advertising. Consequently, Smartly.io has positioned itself to play a leading role in a market where brand and performance work are converging.
Smartly.io sold a majority stake to Providence Equity Partners in 2019 in a move to further its presence in the US. The company has since gone on to make several acquisitions of its own with Viralspace.ai and Ad-Lib.io. Smartly.io's ability to adapt to evolving social media advertising trends has it well set to see continued growth.
