Who you are
- The ideal candidate has experience working within a design system and on a broad range of marketing executions
- Minimum 5 years of agency/team experience or equivalent
- Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating compelling design at scale
- Strong ability to build and manage Brand systems and Libraries
- Proficiency in design software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Emerging AI tools
- A refined grasp of design fundamentals: typography, layout, and ux

What the job involves
- As a Designer on our Brand Systems team, your contributions will be key in helping us distinguish and define Ramp as the brand leader in our category
- The Brand Systems team works on high-impact and foundational projects across the company, shaping our brand voice and tone to codify the design systems that underpin our website, advertising, sales, and marketing materials
- You'll be responsible for the execution of a visual design strategy—including layout design, web design, and building and maintaining our improving brand identity system
- You’ll work alongside the Creative Director, Brand Designers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve our long-term brand vision, design systems, brand guidelines, and internal design collaboration process
- Collaborate with other Brand team members in crits and weekly standups to improve interactive work on ramp.com
- Work directly with web engineering team to create, refine and scale implementation of the brand system for ramp.com
- Contribute to the design and refinement of interactive behaviors for web
- Balance great UX with a high craft bar
- Work closely with our Eng team to translate company strategy into new initiatives that target high leverage opportunities
- Maintain organization within working files, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Prototype designs in Figma, present work to cross-functional partners, and participate in design reviews to refine ideas through feedback
- Stay updated with the latest design tools and techniques while collaborating with producers to move projects forward

Ramp provides companies with a dual offering of corporate cards and a spending management dashboard. The dashboard allows companies to oversee their costs, automate manual accounting practices, reimburse out-of-pocket spending, and earn cashback on financial outlays.
Founded in 2019 and coming out of stealth in 2020, the company has already reached a valuation of a whopping $8.1 billion in early 2022. Its clients include several big-name companies including fast-growth health tech startup Ro, Planned Parenthood, and Truebill. 90% of its customers have made the switch from legacy players such as Expensify and Concur, showing that Ramp provides real customer value.
The team that built Ramp is the same one that launched the automated price tracking company Paribus before selling it to Capital One. It is now focused on scoping out more M&A opportunities and boosting its headcount to support investing in its software and going into new verticals.
