Role
Who you are
- From complex 3D graphics in the browser with WebGL to data-rich applications, you enjoy the challenge of building pixel-perfect, performant web applications
- Having Fortune 500 customers doesn’t scare you; you can write stable, high-quality code quickly and efficiently
- You are comfortable working with a distributed team across timezones and have the written communication skills to be effective
- 3+ years of overall software development experience, with an emphasis on web applications
- 3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Rails, Redux, Ractive, Ember, or Angular, along with the knowledge of when to use them
- 3+ years of experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
- Experience as a member of a UI design team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications
- Experience building rich data-driven web applications
- Some hands-on experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud/AWS, Swagger/gRPC
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline
Desirable
- Strong eye towards pixel-perfect design with a portfolio to back it up
- Experience with vector and motion graphics, including SVG, HTML5 Canvas, WebGL (ThreeJS) and animation via JavaScript and CSS
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices
- Familiar with running a high-availability production service. Have been primary oncall before
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
What the job involves
- You are responsible for all the data visualizations our customers see
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Design and implement new user-facing features in Doxel’s products
- Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes
- Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale

Its software captures site imagery, analyses it's against building information models, budgets, schedules and pay application data, and turns that into clear, actionable insights.

And while there's no shortage of dashboards in construction, Doxel's edge has always been in its forward-looking insights. Now its doubling down on that positioning with an enterprise agreement with Stream Data Centers, bringing its AI-powered progress tracking across Stream's data centre developments. So, by automatically visualizing the status of every component on site, Doxel aims to helpo teams avoid reowrk, reduce maual reporting and catch bottlenecks early.
The company has already worked with major organizations including Kaiser Permanente and Pennsylvania Chemicals, and this latest enterprise rollout signals growing momentum. As global investment in AI and digital infrastructure accelerates, the pressure to deliver complex builds quickly (and without costly surprises) is only increasing. And Doxel is betting that objective, AI-driven progress tracking will become less of a nice-to-have and more of standard tool on every major job site.
