Role
Who you are
- You’ll focus on building and managing a pipeline, expanding relationships with top accounts, and closing new business opportunities

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in new business sales and expansion, demonstrating a track record of success in selling to Enterprise-level organizations
- Proficient in sales within the Data industry
- Capable of effectively utilising both inside and outside sales approaches to secure deals
- Demonstrated proficiency in generating new business-qualified opportunities across diverse channels
- Fluency in Dutch and French is considered a significant advantage
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Senior Account Executive - Enterprise to drive growth within the Benelux Enterprise market
- You’ll focus on building and managing a pipeline, expanding relationships with top accounts, and closing new business opportunities
- You’ll own the full sales cycle—identifying key customer challenges, delivering tailored solutions, and achieving revenue targets—while becoming an expert in our technology and its market value
- Plan territory within 75 ENT accounts to prospect + Clients to Expand
- Generate new business qualified opportunities by working with Tech Partners, SI Partners, XDRs, going direct outbound on named accounts in territory
- Actively pitch the value proposition of Fivetran’s Database replication capabilities along with the Fivetran platform at-large
- Manage 90-180 day sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and departments to land in an enterprise organization
- Negotiate responsible deals and manage the procurement process with legal, deal desk, and deal champions
- Develop trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and senior decision makers at large organizations who will evangelize Fivetran throughout their company
Our take
After a few slower years since graduating from Y Combinator in 2013, Fivetran has skyrocketed, consistently raising large sums of funding, including an Andreessen Horowitz-backed $565m Series D round in 2021.
Customers are mostly data analysts at companies with inefficient database schema, who suffer from a high risk of project failures. Fivetran offers rapid integration of complex data services into cloud warehouses, tagging onto the trend towards cloud-based data systems.
By developing and continuously improving cloud applications that adapt to changing APIs and data schemas, Fivetran is attracting customers who seek long-term data viability. Fivetran also benefits from being easy to set up and integrate into a client's existing software.
After acquiring HVR, a data integration competitor, and Teleport Data, Fivetran continues to add functionality and customers via acquisition. A round of funding in 2023 paved the way for expansion into European and Asian markets.
