Our take
In recent years major clothing brands have fallen short of ethical standards, with their supply chains coming under scrutiny for poor working conditions and environmental violations. With the era of fast fashion coming to an end, socially conscious shoppers are voting with their feet. TALA was founded in 2019 to provide a sustainable option in activewear, offering ethically-produced, sustainable clothing at an affordable price.
The activewear industry boasts a global worth of £140B, and TALA enters this competitive landscape as one of many startups aiming for a share of the market. However, TALA distinguishes itself with several strengths not commonly found in its competitors: a substantial and passionate following on social media, commitment to ethically sourced and predominantly recycled clothing, and a pricing strategy that remains affordable for its target demographic.
With substantial funding under its belt, the company is earmarked for continued product development and the enhancement of its supply chain. With a dedicated customer base and strong support from the investment community, TALA is well-positioned to lead the charge for ethical transformation in the fashion industry.
